Moringa powder, produced from the leaves, contains over 90 nutrients and 46 antioxidants essential for human health. Moringa contains seven times the Vitamin C found in oranges, four times the beta carotene of carrots, three times the iron of spinach, four times as much calcium as milk, three times the potassium of bananas, twice the protein of yogurt and more fiber than oats.

Moringa preparations have been cited in scientific literature as having hypotensive, antispasmodic, anti-ulcer, anti-inflammatory, hypo-cholesterolemic and hypoglycemic activities. Recent scientific research has also shown Moringa to be effective in protecting the liver against certain toxins.
